Joseph Kirby Turner                           1834-1902
Joseph was born on 28 June 1834, the son of Joseph Turner and Ellen ?, at Frodsham, Cheshire.
He attended Cheltenham College, prior to enrolling at age 18, at Trinity College, Cambridge on 14 October 1852. He earned his B.A. in 1857, was Ordained deacon (Cheshire) in 1859; priest, 1860; Curate of Prestbury, Cheshire, 1859-60, Curate of Lawton, 1860-63. Assistant Civil Chaplain at Gibraltar, 1863-644, Vicar of Stalmine, Lancs., 1864-94.

Theresa was born on 15 February 1842, the eighth daughter of Dr. James Caulfield Browne and Isabella Mello.
