Caleb was born on 31 July 1811, the 4th son of Thomas Williams of Cowley Grove, near Uxbridge, Middlesex, and Violetta Williams, dau. of John Williams, of Old Shifford, Bampton, Oxon. Admitted to St John's College, Cambridge, in 1834; earned his B.A. in 1839 and his M.A. in 1843. Ordained deacon, May 27, 1838; priest (Norwich), July 21, 1839; Curate of St Helen's, Ipswich, 1839-1841. P.C. of Shaw with Whitley, Wiltshire, 1842-8. Rector of Newhaven, Sussex, 1848-56. Frances Elizabeth Heathcote 1822-1901 Frances was born on 15 March 1822, the daughter of Rev. Thomas Heathcote and Georgiana Fuller, at Farley, Wiltshire. I have not identified any children. |
