Alexander Brander Rhind 1838-1883 Alexander was born on 6 April 1838, the son of Alexander Rhind and Euphemia Walker, in Forgan, Fife, Scotland. He immigrated to New York City, in 1854, where he married Marion Jessie Mackenzie, in 1868. After their untimely death in 1883, the children were sent back to the UK. Marion Jessie Mackenzie 1841-1883 Marion was born on 3 October 1841, the daughter of George and Jane L. Mackenzie, in New York. She died in childbirth on 4 October 1883, at East Orange, New Jersey.
