Guy Lowenberg 1882-

Guy was born about 1882, the son of William Joseph Lowenberg and Edith Charlotte Joyce, at Bury, Lancashire. He changed his name to Constable at the time of WWI both to remove attention on his germanic name and to inherit from a Constable relative (painter John Constable). He married Kate Cooley Fowler, nee Wolfenden. Guy was a mining engineer. He spearheaded the reclamation effort in the late 1920's and the early 1930's, to reclaim the Kootenay river valley, near Creston, British Columbia. I have identified the following children: |
