Major B. SHAND and Miss CUBITT
The Marrriage took place yesterday at St. Paul's, Knightsbridge, of Major Bruce Shand, 12th Royal Lancers, only son of Mrs. Charles Tibbet, and Miss Rosalind Cubitt, only daughter of the Hon. Roland and Mrs. Cubitt, of Hall Place, West Meon, Petersfield, Hampshire.
The Bishop of Guildford officiated, assisted by the Rev. R. W. H. Moline.
The bride who was given away by her father, wore a gown and train of white satin, with a lace and tulle veil held in place by a wreath of camellias, and she carried a bouquet of the same flowers.
There were four bridesmaids - Lady Cathleen Eliot, Miss Vivien Mosley, Miss Juliet Colman, and Miss Virginia Forbes-Adam - who wore long old-gold coloured dresses with short blue tulle veils, and carried bouquets of mixed spring flowers and roses; and two pages - Michael Heathcoat-Amory and Duncan Davidson - who were in white Gainsborough suits.
The best man was Major Edward Mann, 12th Royal Lancers.
A reception was held at Claridge's Hotel.
