| 7 September 1910 MARRIAGE Yesterday, Dulce, only daughter of Mr. V. T. Thompson, J. P. , of Tower Hill, Middleton-St.-George, County Durham, was quietly married at St. James, Westminster, to Mr. Harold F. Hall, of Khartoum, Soudan. Owing to the bereavement in the brides family, no guests were invited, only relatives and a few intimate friends being present. The nuptial knot was tied by the Right Rev, Llewellyn Gwynne, Bishop of Khartoum, a friend of the bridegroom, who was attended by Capt. N. W. Gardiner, of the Royal Fusiliers, attached to the Egyptian Army, as best man. The bride was given away by her father. The presents were very numerous, beautiful, and costly. Mr. and Mrs. Hall left King's Cross by the 2:20 express for York, whence they will motor through Scotland on their honeymoon, prior to sailing for Khartoum on September 24th. |
