  Major John Henry Fitzhugh Cox             (1st Husband)
John was the son of Major Arthur Fitzhugh James Cox and Janet Hester Younger, at Woodland, Perth, Scotland. His mother was the daughter of Sir Henry Johnston Younger, of Benmore, Argyllshire, Chairman of William Younger and Co., Edinburgh, Brewers.
John was a Major in the Royal Scotts Fusilliers.
He married Elizabeth Pauline Allison. This marriage ended in a divorce. He then married Valerie J. Courtvriend, daughter of Major and Mrs Courtvriend, from Guernsey C.I.
Elizabeth Pauline Allison                      1918-
Elizabeth was born on 7 July 1918, the daughter of Hubert Allison and Mildred Clark Thompson.
After this marriage was dissolved, Elizabeth married Lt.-Col. Malcolm E. Hancock.
