Linda Meckler
This is Linda’s first published book. She was born in Erie, Pennsylvania, and graduated from Academy High School in Erie in 1965. She moved to Cleveland, Ohio where she met her husband and started her family.
Her husband, being a Navy career man, allowed her the opportunity to live in many places and experience many things and finally settle in California where she still resides. Her daughter and son and his large family live close by.
She had a great zest for reading from early childhood into present day. This drive was finally culminated into the writing of this book. Having two children gave her the opportunity to read to them extensively and also to draw upon the past events of their lives together, as a source of information for her writings.
Linda’s writing career evolved from early attempts in creating stories for the entertainment of her children and grandchildren. It has been a constant source to draw upon. Nothing gave her more satisfaction than, one day, when her granddaughter said, “I love it Grandma, when you read to me.” That has been the fountain of inspiration that drives her to create what you are reading today.
