Curacao, the principal island of the Nederlands
Antilles was discovered by Alonso de Ojeda in 1499. A very Dutch looking
town. But very nice & clean. |

| LA GUAIRA, (CARACAS) Venezuela:
It took quiet a bus ride to go from the harbor ( La Guaira) to the city
of Caracas. The old Governors Residence was fascinating and open to the
public. And the glassblower factory just outside of town. Very interesting
city. |

| SANTO DOMINGO,Dominican
Republic:(sorry no pictures) A charming Island
if you overlook the poverty. We visited a nice rum factory outside of
town. |

| ST. THOMAS,
US Virgin Islands:The nice beaches around the
Island. And all the not so "Bargains" in town. But we enjoyed! |

| BRIDGETOWN,
Barbados: WE have seen some very pretty
country sides. Lots of sugar plantations. Bridgetown has has a nice outdoor
market. Of course you cannot forget the beautiful beaches (Crane Beach). |

of poverty. |

Martinique: the island of very proud people.
Beautiful scenery around most of the island. |
