WORTH SEEING: The Caribbean Islands

OCHO RIOS, Island of Jamaica: The lush Surroundings and water falls are a wonderful attraction. The waterfalls are known as the Dunn's River Falls.
WILHELMSTAD, Curacao, the principal island of the Nederlands Antilles was discovered by Alonso de Ojeda in 1499. A very Dutch looking town. But very nice & clean.
LA GUAIRA, (CARACAS) Venezuela: It took quiet a bus ride to go from the harbor ( La Guaira) to the city of Caracas. The old Governors Residence was fascinating and open to the public. And the glassblower factory just outside of town. Very interesting city.
SANTO DOMINGO,Dominican Republic:(sorry no pictures) A charming Island if you overlook the poverty. We visited a nice rum factory outside of town.
ST. THOMAS, US Virgin Islands:The nice beaches around the Island. And all the not so "Bargains" in town. But we enjoyed!
BRIDGETOWN, Barbados: WE have seen some very pretty country sides. Lots of sugar plantations. Bridgetown has has a nice outdoor market. Of course you cannot forget the beautiful beaches (Crane Beach).
PORT-au-PRINCE, Haiti: (sorry no pictures) More of the same mentality of the people and lots of poverty.
FORT-DE-FRANCE, Martinique: the island of very proud people. Beautiful scenery around most of the island.
