2008 Genies point guard Andrea Owens has signed a letter-of-intent to play basketball and attend Fort Lewis College beginning in 2009.  The Tolleson High senior will play for coach Mark Kellogg at the Durango, Colo. Division II school.  The Skyhawks finished the 2007-2008 season with a 26-4 mark which included a 22-game winning streak.






2008 Genies post player Chantel Moss has signed with DI Central Arkansas University where she will join her sister Megan on the Sugar Bears roster beginning in 2009.  The Coolidge High senior was the 3A South Player of the Year in 2007-2008.  She will play for Coach Matt Daniel at the Conway, Ark. school.





  Versatile 2008 Genies wing player Erica Olsen will stay close to home after signing with
                                              Mesa Community College.  The 6'0" Olsen who played the past four years at Mesa's
                                              Mountain View High School will play for Thunderbirds coach Kori Stephenson beginning
                                              with the 2009 season.
