This one was done as an entry for the "Draw the Cover" contest in Wizard Magazine. I liked the ideas that: 1.Clark here is invulnerable all over, not just in the middle of the "S"(hence having a slug bouncing off the ol' melon) and 2.after a while he'd just get bored with ordinary crooks shooting at him.
