My passion is Art and Photography. It has surrounded me my entire life. My earliest memories have been watching my Father conduct a photo shoot or peering over my Mom's shoulder as she was drawing a new masterpiece.
My Father was a Professional Photographer and Actor. My Mother was a Fine Artist. I have an incredibly talented family and I guess all that creativity rubbed off on me.
I was born in California and moved to Arizona when I was 12 and have lived here ever since. In 1991 I received a Bachelors Degree from Arizona State University in Fine Art and graduated with honors. I’ve maintained a freelance business doing portraits and commercial photography ever since. Over the last 18 years I also managed Headshots Photography studio in Mesa and worked in two print houses as a graphic designer and pre-press artist. Currently, I work for The Boeing Company as a contractor for the Air Force Research Laboratory at Williams Gateway, Mesa. I work as both a photographer and graphic designer supporting the Air Force with lab projects and special events.
I also love to dance and in 2001 I started studying the art of Middle Eastern and East Asian Dance. Eventually I became a professional dancer and perform regularly either solo or with one of my dance troupes. I’ve danced with groups such as Alimah dancing tribal fusion belly dance and had the honor of dancing in a production of Bollywood love Rules, a two hour show performed at the Scottsdale Center for the Arts in January of 2005. Currently, I’m Assistant Director of Boom Boom Bollywood which performs original choreography and dance sequences straight out of Indian Bollywood movies and a member of Aashiyaana Dance Company which is a world fusion dance group that creates a mix of classical Indian dance, Bollywood, Bhangra, belly dance, jazz and hip hop.
