Glastonbury ABC Fundraiser

Buy grocery cards and Glastonbury ABC gets a donation

Glastonbury ABC is a very small non-profit organization.  Every year we raise money to pay for house maintenance and utilities, the salaries of the Resident Director, Resident Tutor & Cook, and food -- with a houseful of teenage boys we buy a lot of food.  So it seems fitting that we’re trying to raise money for ABC by selling grocery cards.  Here’s how it works:  Stop & Shop sells Glastonbury ABC the grocery cards at a discount.  We sell them to you at face value and ABC keeps the difference.  The grocery cards come in amounts of $100 and $300.

Prepay for some groceries and help Glastonbury ABC at the same time.  The grocery cards are very easy to use – easier than a credit card.  You slide it through the card reader in the check-out aisle, press “yes” and you’re done; nothing to sign.  The cards do not expire and every time you use the card the register will print a slip telling you how much is left on the card.  When the card is used up, you give it to the checkout clerk.

Email Jonathan Russell at cjjc5@cox.net or Bob Cardin at embycee@aol.com with your order.  Include your name & address and how many cards you want.  For orders of 3 or more cards, we’ll deliver to your house!

Jonathan Russell (Glastonbury ABC’s President), Bob Cardin (Treasurer) and Greta Robbins (Secretary) would like to make a special appeal to Glastonbury’s Hartwell soccer, GBA Basketball and Glastonbury Baseball friends.  Please buy as many grocery cards as you are able.
