Current Students

Aaron, a junior, is from Brooklyn and now considers Glastonbury his second home. He has made many friends and enjoys the wide selection of activities at GHS. Aaron was selected to attend the Hartford Academy of Performing Arts to pursue his love of theater arts, which he hopes to pursue in college. A large college in Boston or New York is his choice right now.

Ivan, also a junior, comes to our program via New York City. As a freshman he expressed his excitement about GHS being large and offering many new experiences. He has taken the opportunity to join a variety of clubs and has added football & wrestling to his GHS experiences. Ivan enjoys people and has made many friends here.
Kelvin, a freshman, hails from the Bronx. He has 2 older sisters in college, an older brother and a younger sister. Kelvin is a champion chess player, likes writing, reading, and aspires to be a veterinarian. At Glastonbury High School, he has developed a keen interest in photography and is the manager for the GHS freshman basketball team. He says he feels like he is becoming part of a family at the ABC house and has found Glastonbury High School very welcoming.
Brandon, a freshman, comes from St. Albans (Queens). He is an only child and is enjoying his new-found brothers at the ABC house. He plays the saxophone and has joined the marching band at GHS. He will be playing for the Glastonbury Basketball Association (GBA) this winter and would like to try skiing and snowboarding. He is happy he has overcome his fear of dogs, especially “Sid” our new ABC house companion. Brandon would like to become an engineer.
Caylan, a freshman, is from East Lansdowne, near Philadelphia, PA. His parents are originally from Jamaica. He is big brother to two younger sisters. He is interested in art and drama. Caylan will also be playing in the GBA this winter and like Brandon wants to try out skiing and snowboarding. He thinks the ABC house is fun every night, even with study hours! He is really enjoying his host family.
