The Mann's have years of experience and have worked
virtually thousands of shows. Fairs, Festivals, Schools, and Churches
have all used Glenda and Mike successfully and with positive results. They have performed
for many years at the Kansas
State Fair (including years 2000 - 2009) and have appeared on television. The Manns have
performed in public schools, community festivals, and churches all over the
Midwest.
Mike and Glenda are experienced outdoor
performers. They have worked for many years on the Lake Talbot stage at the
Kansas State Fair in all kinds of weather conditions from extreme heat to
pouring rain and cold. Someone always shows up no matter what the weather is
like so the show must go on! One year at the fair it had been raining on and off
all morning. No one was there but the Manns set-up anyway and by the time of
their first performance an entire class of elementary school students showed up
in raincoats an sat on wet benches to watch the show. Their teachers were very
pleased because everything else had shut down for the day. They were glad there
was something entertaining and educational their students could watch.
The Manns have worked county fairs and
festivals all over the Midwest. Many times they are hired to work inside
buildings to promote a product or entertain with a program theme. They are very
experienced in weaving messages throughout the illusions and puppetry. They do
so in such a way that the audience gets the message and retains it because of
the association with something seen that was fun and enjoyable. They are also
good with product material. They hand out flyers and brochures after shows as
the audience comes to the stage to meet them or pet the magic rabbit.
Mike & Glenda have worked many company picnics
and business or holiday parties. They have been hired by international
companies, from Lowen Corporation to the Kansas Chapter of the National
Association of Postmasters. Insurance companies to major pharmaceutical
producers have all used them for their annual meetings.
