| Principle Responsibilities (Describe key focus of position) |
Evaluation Assess to what extent responsibilities were met. |
||||
| Setup & maintenance of computers, network and hardware |
Supervised distribution of classroom computers. Consistently repairing and maintaining laptops so that there is very little down time without their computers (for both teachers and the lab cart). Network continues to run smoothly despite numerous virus attacks, and hardware maintenance is high. |

| Maintenance of video system |
Mr. Krause took over the weekly news program, “The Falcon Report”, this year. It is very popular with students, and administration frequently uses it to get messages out to the entire student body. We also have not had any difficulties with our video system this year. |
||||
| Support technology initiatives as needed (e.g. benchmarks, HRO, QLCs, SIS ) |
Everything has run extremely smoothly this year – any problems with benchmarks, HRO, QLCs and whatnot have been minor and were operational all of the time. Mr. Krause works closely with Mr. Drew to get QLCs up and running every quarter. He has also been working on testing SRI, our reading program, which will be operational next school year. |
||||
| Management of user accounts, |
Mr. Krause becomes involved with this only when there are problems that Mr. Drew is unable to solve himself. Everything has run smoothly on our end. |
||||
| Backup and restoration |
Our backup procedures are documented and run smoothly. There have been no issues whatsoever in the past seven years – we have never lost any data. |
||||
| Technology Support and Help Desk |
Problems are always fixed in a timely manner. Priority is given to teacher and administrator laptops, so they have the tools necessary to complete their jobs. There has yet to be an equipment problem that Mr. Krause could not solve. Very polite and courteous when assisting staff. |

| It seems that every year, new challenges arise. We were attacked quite viciously by computer viruses early in the school year, and made it through with no data lost. Mr. Krause took on the added responsibility of producing our weekly Falcon Report broadcast, teaching himself how to use iMovie and has become quite proficient with it. Everyone on staff thoroughly enjoys the show! Adding yet another unforeseen twist this year, Mr. Krause was quite involved of the hiring and training of a new junior UST as well. Mr. Krause has been extremely flexible this year (as always), constantly adapting his routine and job duties as new issues and projects arise. His leadership skills have improved much this year, given the opportunity to manage the workflow of several members of the Tech Team. He has shown that he is prepared for the challenge of completely taking over technology next year. |

| I look forward to the new challenge of moving in to the Site Technology Manager position with the new challenges it will present. I enjoy teaching both students and teachers and look forward to the opportunity. Feaster-Edison Charter School is a great place to work, with great individuals making a difference in the lives of our students one student at a time. |
