Cristina, Nicole and I went to San Diego Wild Animal Park for the Festival of lights. After the park we drove up to Julian and beyond to Camp Picacho State Park to camp for the night. I was expecting dry clear weather, but Nicole prayed for snow and guess what, it snowed all night long.

![]() I had never seen fresh snowfall ever in my life. What a wonderful site. The only tracks anywhere to be found were mine from Surfchief to where I took this photo. There were no other campers around and it was very silent in the woods. Just after this photo it started to snow again quite a lot |
![]() Another view of the soft smooth snow and Surfchief. I would not want to try and camp out here without the heater we have inside. On the other side of the campground there was a tent camper, Brrrrrrrr. |
![]() We are going to go back again and pray for snow, what fun... |
![]() Nicole and Cristina made "Jack Frost" as I cooked us a hot breakfast. |
![]() Here he is, Nicole named her friend "Jack Frost". |
Thank you for sharing our trip to Winter Wonderland.
