Our first event for the year was held on May 6th. Two GNRT cars were entered. Jim Dallas piloted his 110 powered 1964 coupe, while Ned Madsen was behind the wheel of his 1966 Corsa coupe. This was an event filled with firsts. First event of the season, first event for Jim's car and first event for Ned's car with the many rear suspension modifications. The event was held at the Raytheon Aircraft site which has a very sandy surface. The difficulty of the course was made more difficult by several days of rain prior to the event. The result was a very slippery surface. Still, we had lots of fun.
