This
guy made a home for himself out in an abandoned old barn on the edge
of a swamp in 1987. He was pretty disappointed in himself and hoped
that nobody would ever see him. There were some crickets there that
he sometimes saw, and always heard; making noises that sounded like
tiny car horns, some right nearby, some further away. In 1995, he
found an old bottle of windex in the woods and he poured some on the
floor to make his house smell better. the crickets stopped making
noises after that, and he decided he may have accidentally killed
them, or else they just didn't like the windex at all, and left.
