Friends of Max!
One Acorn Woodpecker is
kind of fun,
but four Acorn Woodpeckers rat tat tatting on the
birdhouse roof drives Max nuts!
This is Max's girl friend Crystal.
Ok, she has her teeth barred, and she is growling, but Max says she is just playing around. Crystal comes from champion parents,... and she knows it! Max sees Crystal every day on his walk. When they see each other, they carry on at the gate, barking and running back and forth. It kind of looks like they are mad. But their tails are high, and they have big smiles on their faces, so I guess Max is right about the playing.
These are two real wolves! They are owned by Max's friend Lou. The wolf on the left, is a male Timber Wolf named Kovak, and the white wolf on the right, is his mate, an Artic Wolf name Juno. They are huge, magnificent, animals. They are much taller then Max, and weigh around 130 pounds. Kovak and Juno, are just as nice and friendly as they can be.
It is a privilege to spend time with

Murphy is new to the neighborhood.
But he is one of the nicest horses that Max has ever met!
