October 24, 2005 -- We will rehearse at the World Beat Center starting October 26. October 4, 2005 -- Nei will not be joining us for a while at Cafe Sevilla. |
| June 11, 2005 -- Changing Wednesday rehearsal time to 7:30 PM (from 7:00). |
| February 24, 2005 -- The March 12 show for Mind, Body, & Soul has been rescheduled. Details pending. |
| December 30, 2004 -- We have moved back to Mind, Body, & Soul dance studio for practice/rehearsals. New day is Wednesdays at 8:30 PM. |
| October 9, 2004 -- We have decided to order red T-shirts with yellow Diaspora logos. |
| May 16, 2004 -- Diaspora will resume practices at the World Beat Center on May 27. |
| April 4, 2004 -- It looks like the benefit gig at World Beat for all-girl Brazilian community group/samba reggae band, Didá, will be around early August. It is still in the planning stage, so please check your calendars. We can adjust for performers' schedules. |
| March 21, 2004 -- The first gig went fine. Now, we have a second one in the works. Lisa has asked us to perform before her improve group's next show. This time it's more local. |
| Febuary 13, 2004 -- As it stands, the repertoire for Super Sonic in San Francisco Carnaval will be "Bowing Bear", "Pugs in Black", "Batukata 5", "The Pillory", and "Tails of the Bazaar". We have almost three months to perfect these. |
| January 20, 2004 -- Practice is now permanently moved to our new location at Mind, Body & Soul dance studio. The second class there is Thursday, January 22 at 8 PM. |
| January 12, 2004 -- Practice will be at our new location this week at Mind, Body & Soul dance studio. |
