Gorton History Day Winners 2007-2008

 The Social Studies Department would like to compliment all those students who participated in Gorton History Day.  Their effort and hard work in research and presentation was evident.  Appreciation and gratitude are also extended to Mrs. Theriault and Mr. Hewes for their efforts in working with these students in their classes.  A special thanks to Ms. Jacques, Mrs. McCombs, Mrs. Fielding, Ms. Silven, Mrs. Hubbard, Mr. A. Andolfo, Mr. S. Andolfo, Mr. Stone and Mr. Pierce for their support and help in judging. 

 A special congratulation is extended to all of the winning students!  Those who placed 1st and 2nd in their category attended the National History Day Competition on the state level at Providence College on April 26th.
