Speckels Theatre in San Diego, 11/19/2004

This was the final concert of the final tour (they did 5) in support of the album "The Beautiful Letdown".  Before the show we ran into Jon Foreman and we had him leave a message on our babysitters' answering machine.  He's a good sport.  My family had seats in the front row of a lower balcony and the venue allowed cameras.  We were able to get some great shots as you can see below.

Above: This is Jon Foreman, lead singer, primary songwriter and guitarist.  Most pictures are of him because he had the best lighting.

Above: The band.  From left to right; Jerome Fontamilla (keys, guitar), Drew Shirley (guitar and unofficial band member), Jon, Chad Butler (drums), Tim Foreman (bass).

Above: No, Jon is not doing anything weird with his guitar.  At the end of the song, "This Is Your Life" he sings into it.  It's a very cool effect.

Above: Still singing....

Above:  Chad is still drumming not poking, even though that would be funny.  The night before Jon kicked over some of the drums so I think Chad should have given him a reminder with his drum sticks.

Above: Falling for effect.  He didn't fall from the bass drum.

Above:  "Dang, where is Tim Rogers?"

Above:  "I know that dude!"

Above:  That's it folks.  They are heading into the studio.  I keep forgetting to ask them what the name of the new album will be.  Look for it in May 2005.

Welcome home guys!
