Great White F.C. History

Great White FC was founded around a table at Karl Strauss Brewery in Costa Mesa in the spring of 2008. A few drunken Swedes, Scotts, Americans and one Portuguese had gathered for a few pints of discussion and male bonding. A Soccer team was founded. The first season was played in the "A" division of the Irvine Men's league with poor result. After competing in a few introductory friendly games for the Laguna Niguel Football Association (LNFA) the team was incepted into the LNFA and was a part of forming its current 2 division format. Fall 2008 was our first season in the 2nd Division of the LNFA and proved to be a tough task with a final place at 2nd to bottom. For the spring 2009 Season the team has been rejuvenated, reformed, and reinvigorated with many new and skilled players. The goal for the spring 2009 season is to be a major contender in the 2nd division. .
