Airsoft

My friend decided to get me involved in Airsoft. My first and only acquisition is a Tokyo Marui P90TR. I was initially drawn to the P90 by playing Rogue Spear. The P90 serves me well and was something different than the bulk of the Airsoft guns at the time. The stock muzzle velocity was 278-280 fps with 0.2g Tokyo Marui BBs. I decided to tinker with it to get some range while still maintaining its compactness. I added an AK Systema 6.04 barrel which easily fit to the end of the stock fake suppressor. The results were not impressive so I added a SP100 spring and metal bushings. The results were amazing.

The Airsoft Elite BBs had quite a spread in velocity. The barrel alone did not provide any appreciable improvement. However, the barrel and spring combination upgraded my P90 beyond what I was hoping for. I initally thought to get the velocity into the 340-350 fps range. The 372-380 fps results were beyond expectations.
