This site is host for a program designed to speed the resolution of missile combat for the Star Blazers Fleet Battle System. The program is a small, crude, experimental beast and the user assumes all risk for using it. The program contains targeting data from the Star Blazers Fleet Battle System published by Musashi Enterprises and Voyager Entertainment.
Version 2
Added high speed Scorpion attack information.
Added section for SD/MDS/Guns versus missiles/torpedoes/battlecraft.
Version 3
Added section for missiles/torpedoes versus missiles/torpedoes/battlecraft.
Version 3.1
Added WMM.
Version 4
Added text export file for Missiles vs. Ships window.
Version 5
Added text export files for all anti-missile/battlecraft fire. Added the MDS for the Comet submarines. Modified the guns/defense batteries interface. For this, just enter the total salvos at the approriate range bracket. Example: an MDS(5) and MDS(5/5) fire their full loads at short range. A 3 would be entered at short range, 1 salvo from the MDS(5) and 2 salvos from the MDS(5/5). Example: Two Comet submarines fire their MDS's at long range. One fires a full load, the other 2 out of its 4 salvos. A 6 would be entered in the long range box.
Version 6
Added critical hit roller.
Version 6.1
Fixed bug in critical hit B.

Suggested House Rule:
Ships may engage missiles targeted at them beyond point blank range. The reasoning for this is, if you know a missile may explode when destroyed, you may wish to engage it further away. Modern naval units engage threats as far away as possible in order to have as much time as possible to destroy the threat.
