Delta ASCATrial May 17, 2003

This sequence of photos was taken by Gayle Oxford (Glow Photo) at the all Course C trial at which Klaatu won the High Combined Other Breed silver belt buckle – all out of the difficult advanced classes. This trial was held at Twin Oaks Ranch in Galt, California, home of the famous Twin Oaks Australian Shepherds.

The ducks were very challenging at this trial. First they were very frantic in behavior, flapping wings and quacking even when dogs were ¾ of the way down the arena

And the panel set up in C course does not give the dog enough room ro momuver to accomplish the tasks. The fence is in the way of where the dog needs to go.

Here Klaatu presses as tightly against the fence as she can.
