v     Two Times First Runner-up for GSDCA Herding Victor/Victrix

 

v     Finished her Herding Trial Championship just 10 weeks after having puppies and on a long ranch course

 

v     One of only approximately 12 dogs (all breeds combined) with all 3 championships in herding!! (As of Feb. 2002)

 

v     2001 World Cowdog Challenge: 1st place Open Division (3rd round), 1st & 2nd best fetches of entire Challenge. 

 

v     9 High In Trial, 6 Reserve High In Trial, 6 High Combined

(and then I lost count!)

 

v     Two scores of 99% (HTDI-s & HRDI-g) at just one-year-old!

 

v     HX at 26 months, earned on both A and C!

 

v     1999 GSDSA National Herding Specialty

2nd place Advanced C, RHIT (judge said she lost HIT by a baubble, i.e. a handler error)

2nd place Advanced A (lost to my other dog)

 

v     By 2 years old, Klaatu had earned 20  herding titles!  (And this was before AKC course/stock specific titles.) (Currently, she has >50 titles!)

 

v     At the clinic following the HGH trial, SV Herding judge and professional shepherd Manfred Voight said that he was very impressed with Klaatu and that he would take her tending.  He also remarked on how obedient she was.

 

v     When going to check Klaatu’s pads during the  AD (Endurance Test), the judge shouted, “ Hey everybody, come look at this dog!  She isn’t even breathing hard!”

 

v     Earned Herding Championship with majors on both A & C courses.

 

v     Winner of IEHDA Rogue Rooster Jackpot (chicken herding)

 

v     2x RHIT at GSDCA National, 3x reserve to Herding Victor/Victrix.

 

v     In December 2003, Klaatu received major head trauma which resulted in some coordination problems and her left eye pushed into the socket .

 

Especially affected is her run gait.  She can no longer run very fast (she used to be a speeding bullet) and tires easily, especially on uneven terrain.

 

      Despite this, she continued to earn titles and even HITs.  She retired from trialing in early 2006.
