Karma Thegsum Choling (KTC) Wichita was founded in 1996 to create an authentic Tibetan Buddhist practice
community in the Wichita area. The center is under the spiritual direction of Ven. Bardor
Tulku Rinpoche, our guiding teacher, and was founded under the direction of
the Ven. Khenpo Karthar Rinpoche, the abbot
of Karma
Triyana Dharmachakra (KTD), a Tibetan Buddhist monastery and
the North American seat of His
Holiness the 17th Karmapa, Ugyen Trinley Dorje, in Woodstock,
NY.
KTC
Wichita provides a place to study and practice
the authentic Karma Kagyu lineage of
Tibetan Buddhism. Our center offers a variety of programs including:
- regular meditation practice
- meditation workshops and individual meditation
instruction
- Buddhism classes and discussions of Buddhist teachings
- visits from authentic Buddhist teachers

New Location: In case you haven't heard...we are currently meeting at
Unity Church of Wichita, located at 2160 N. Oliver, on the southeast corner of 21st and Oliver. We will continue to meet
Thursdays at 7 p.m., unless noted otherwise. We will generally meet in
the gallery or reception area, however, from time to time
we may meet in other areas of the church.

First, Thanks to everyone for helping with Lama Kathy's visit earlier in September!!!!
We have a full month planned!!
As usual, we will be meeting Thursdays at 7p.m. at Unity Church at 21st and Oliver unless noted otherwise.
10/1 - Dinner night! We'll meet at Panera Bread at Hillside and Central @ 7p.m.

10/24 - Saturday Morning Workshop on Hinayana Buddhism by Greg Smith
9a.m - 2 p.m. @ Unity
Lunch will be a vegetarian potluck lunch. Yummy!!!!
10/29 - Green Tara Chant Practice
