MEMBERSHIP

There are several ways to participate in the activities of KKSG Wichita.  Most programs of the KKSG are open to everyone, and you are welcome to attend according to your interests.  If you become a regular participant at our center and receive benefit from Center activities, we invite you to become a member and to contribute your time, talents, and resources for the benefit of others.

Membership
To become a full member of the KTC requires that you have taken Refuge, maintain timely payment of dues for the operation and activities of the KTC, and agree to abide by the policies and guidelines of KTD and of KTC Wichita.

Annual Membership Meeting.  An annual membership meeting is held in October to celebrate achievements of the previous year, to do some overall planning for the coming year, and to elect members of the KTC Executive Committee.

KTC Executive Committee
    The Executive Committee is
the decision-making body of the Center and is responsible for administering all affairs of KTC Wichita.  The five officers of the Executive Committee are elected by the members in good standing at the annual membership meeting in October and are approved by KTD.  Terms for all officers are currently for one year.  The officers consist of:
1. Coordinator. The Coordinator presides over Executive Committee meetings and members meetings.   The Coordinator is responsible for seeing that the KKSG complies with the KTD and KKSG guidelines.  Our current coordinator is Jane Mossman.
2. Assistant Coordinator.  The Assistant Coordinator assists the coordinator and assumes the Coordinator's duties when the Coordinator is absent.  Our Assistant Coordinator is Charles Kraus.
3. Treasurer.  The Treasurer maintains the financial records and reports and handles all receipts and payments of the KKSG.  Our Treasurer is Karen Graham.
4. Secretary.  The secretary prepares and distributes reports, agendas, and minutes, and handles the corresondence of the center.  Currently the Secretary position is combined with that of Treasurer.
5. Other Officer.  One other officer may be elected, with duties according to the needs of the Center.  We currently only have three officers on the Executive Committee.

Executive Committee Meetings.  Currently the Executive Committee meets on a monthly basis to conduct the business of the Center.  At these meetings the Committee plans, approves and coordinates Center activities.  Although the Executive Committee is the decision-making body of the Center, we invite the input and participation of all members and other Center participants.  Most Executive Committee meetings are open, and everyone is welcome to attend.  Also, you are always free to pass on your comments and suggestions to Executive Committee officers or other center members.
