Preface
Ask most Christians if they believe in
extraterrestrials and they'll tell you they don't. There's no room
for silly little green men in the world of Christianity! ...but
God is not from earth. He is not an Earthling. That means God is
extraterrestrial by definition. The Angels are extraterrestrial
too... and so are stars and meteorites.
Christians
generally frown at this information.
Question: If God, the Angels, or even Jesus were to return to the earth
tomorrow, would we recognize them?
Christians will
immediately say, "Yes, I would definitely know the
almighty!" ...but would they really? Would God look just like
the paintings by the great masters from a few hundred years ago? Would
God and the Angels look "godlike?" ...or would they look like
ordinary people? How do we know they will look anything like us at all?
Most Christians believe god is a spirit, having no physical form, but
how can we assume he doesn't have a physical body? Just because we
haven't unlocked the secret to immortality doesn't mean a being with
unimaginable intellect didn't. We've only begun to scratch the surface
of the human genome. We finally finished mapping it 10 years ago.
What will we be capable of after 1,000 years of genetic study?
...or 10,000 years? ...or 100,000 years? Immortality? Will
we be capable of journeying to distant planets and creating new life
there through genetic engineering?
Probably a lot
sooner than that.
Conversely, those who insist God does not exist generally confine
their definition of God (or what he isn't) to what is written in the
Bible. Creator of the Universe. Omnipresent. Omnipotent. Six
days? -Impossible!
The unbelievers say that Gods are myths created by primitive men to
explain the unexplainable. That most of the stories in the Bible were
based on older non-Christian myths. There are no dinosaurs or trilobites
in the Bible. That all life on earth evolved from the first living cell
a billion years ago.
And they ask, "Where is god now?"
A good argument if one takes the Bible word for word, but lets face it,
those Old Testament stories were handed down verbally for thousands of
years before man developed written language.
We've all done
that classroom experiment where a story is started at one end of the
room and gets whispered from student to student ...the final result is
always different from the original. Its embellished upon and details are
lost.
What of the
information in the Bible? How much of it was distorted generation after
generation before finally being committed to a written language? Then it
was translated several times before it was available in English.
Why is the Old
Testament God such an angry god, and the New Testament God such a nice
guy? What the hell is going on?
The following is NOT what I believe. It is simply an idea... an
attempt to expand people's conceptions on both sides of the issue... a
tool to show believers and non-believers alike that anything is
possible. That BOTH Science and The Bible could indeed be giving us
clues to the very same events.
Events we still
know absolutely nothing about.

The
Domestication of Man
A
History
Our Creator will arrive during the next great ice age, when Earth's
climate is better suited to their survival. Only then can they re-assume
their role as masters of the human race.
ICE AGE
Homo Sapiens were initially created during an ice age 200,000 years ago
when the masters spliced segments of their own DNA into indigenous
hominids. This process was later described to man, and eventually
appeared in the Old Testament: 'God created man in their own image
from the clay of the Earth'..... "their own image"
being God's own DNA, and "the clay of the earth" being
an existing sub-species that had previously evolved naturally on the
planet. "Adam" was created through genetic level
re-engineering of Homo Erectus.
Modern Man was created... but WHY?
Many religions speak of the powerful 10 foot tall "gods" or
"angels" who created us. Being twice our size, the masters
found it nearly as difficult to function in our gravity as we humans do
when we grow to sizes over 8 feet tall. We were genetically engineered
to be spry trained little monkeys that would provide for the masters,
serve them, obey them, praise them, labor tirelessly for them, and be
wholly dependent on them. We were their little worker ants.
A previous
domestication project from 300,000 years ago, Neanderthal, had been an
utter failure, but the Masters were pleased with the Homo Sapien slave
race they had created. We were genetically perfect, and we served and
praised the masters well.
We called our masters omnipotent -all powerful ....and in their
knowledge of genetics and technology they are still vastly superior to
us. They travel among the stars and are the galaxy's great manipulators
of DNA... and where better to carry out these unsafe genetic
experiments than on a distant planet that lies on the very edge of the
galaxy, far away from their home world?
Despite the
incredibly long life spans they engineered into themselves, their immune
systems are not able to deal with the abundance of strange and harmful
bacteria on Earth. Every planet has unique bacteria. It is an
evolutionary thing based on the unique conditions of each planet. To
live here as we do, breathing our atmosphere, would kill them, but in
temperatures below 41° Fahrenheit (4°C) nearly all bacteria dies or
becomes dormant.
During
the great ice ages when sea level is 150 meters lower than it is today
and 70% of the earth is covered by 2 mile thick glaciers for nearly 90,000
years, the Sun has little effect on Earth's climate. Ocean
temperature becomes the dominate factor, resulting in
stabilized temperatures around the globe.
An ice
age provides the bacteria-free ecosystem the masters require to
function openly on this planet. The Masters dwell at the newly exposed
coastlines of the continental shelf near the equator, where the ocean is
not frozen and the air temperature stays a near constant 34 degrees day
and night for thousands of years.
135,000
years ago the ice age was nearly over. The coming
interglacial period would quickly create perfect breeding conditions
for all those harmful bacteria the Masters fear. The Masters abandoned
Earth well in advance of the great flood that marks the end of an
ice age, leaving man to fend for himself.
INTERGLACIAL
125,000 years ago another group of advanced beings arrived on Earth.
They had no problems with Earth's bacteria or the warmer climate.
They recognized The Master's work. They too wished to experiment on man,
making him capable of more complex tasks. They obtained DNA from
human bone marrow -a rib, to be exact- and they re-engineered us
into into more intelligent beings. Man was given "fruit of the
tree of knowledge." They made man self-aware. This creation would
be called "Eve."
But man's new self-awareness and intelligence caused him to become more
aggressive and violent.
ICE AGE
116,000 years ago, when the next Ice Age began, the Old Masters returned
and found our new masters still here. They found man had been
changed significantly. He had become a thinker, and most humans were no
longer content to praise and serve the Old Masters as they once did.
The Old Masters
were neither pleased nor amused by the changes made to man, and punished
the new masters for it, forcing them to leave Earth. These events are
described in the Bible as the " fall from grace" and the war
with Satan.
The Old Masters did their best to try to control the spread of the new
human sub-species, sometimes even destroying whole cities, but to no
avail. The damage was done.
As their servants, the Old Masters originally engineered us to live for
up to 1000 years, but this had to be changed when man became obstinate,
violent and destructive. Man had become too dangerous and
unpredictable to allow him to have such a long lifespan. It was simple
to fix -as easy as flipping a switch. The Old Masters made a single
alteration to man's genetic code so that growth hormone would cease
production after the age of 22, causing a slow deterioration of the
human body. We call this "old age." It is a genetic disorder
that the Old Masters could reverse if they ever care to. Perhaps
someday man will be able to flip that switch back on himself.
35,000 years ago
the Old Masters exterminated the last remnants of their original
failed domestication project, Neanderthal.
16,000 years ago, anticipating
the approaching interglacial period, the old masters again prepared
to leave Earth before bacteria levels got too high. They warned
their faithful followers of the impending flood which
would be caused by the melting polar glaciers and told
them to move to higher ground.
They also warned
the faithful not to fall victum to the new masters if they
returned. There would be dire consequences for all who followed them.
They dubbed the most faithful of their human servants "the chosen
ones," and promised them ultimate rewards for their unwavering
loyalty, payable on death. They even promised to someday re-extend man's
lifespan again, perhaps even giving him ever lasting life, but only for
the most devout of followers.
INTERGLACIAL
2000 years ago
Plato described the "sinking" of Atlantis into the ocean. He
said it happened 9,000 years before his time... which is 11,000 years
ago (and coincides with the beginning and warmest part of the current
interglacial). The world actually flooded. This was the
Great Flood. The Bible rain was only coincidental.
Nearly every
trace of the Old Masters was again submerged beneath 150 meters of
water, sand and silt. It is as if they never existed. Humanity fled to
higher ground as the oceans swelled. All that remains now are vague
recollections of the Old Masters that were handed down by man for
hundreds of generations.... blurry descriptions of the Old Master's
reign, the departure, and inevitable return.
11,000 years ago, at the beginning of the current
interglacial, the new masters returned. They tweeked our genes
again, this time creating a far more intelligent human being. They
taught man to reason.
8,000 years ago man
was ready to grasp written language, logic, weights and measures, and
mathematics. The new masters taught man about the stars and
the earth. They gave man new laws to live by. The new masters were
the builders of man's first civilizations. All of these civilizations,
Sumerian (later Babylonian and Assyrian), Indus Valley (later Harappan),
and Egyptian, are found near the equator where the old masters had abandoned
man.
The new masters also genetically engineered fruits and vegetables that
man could grow, and taught man how to farm. Seeds carry genetic level
information about the atmosphere, soil, and sunlight that the parent
plant grew in. A plant thrives best in the same growing conditions as
its parent. You can't bring plant life from another world and expect it
to grow here. Alien plant life must be altered at a genetic level and
adapted to Earth conditions. This was the era of the "Garden of
Eden".
Those who still served the Old Masters recognized the danger of
partaking in the advances provided by the new masters. They warned that
the old masters would not be pleased when they return, and some of them
still warn us of the danger to this day.
Soon, at the end of this interglacial when the next ice age begins, the
Old Masters will return once more to reclaim mankind.
The new masters
know the Old Masters will be very unhappy with man's recent
upgrade, and will probably destroy the new masters for it -and most
man's corrupt and vile civilization too. They fled Earth several
hundred years ago hoping to escape the wrath. Those humans who refuse to
give up the evil ways of the new masters, those who refuse serve the Old
Masters, shall perish in a great war of reckoning. An Armageddon.
The legends of
these ancient events were passed down verbally for thousands and
thousands of years. Many of the facts were forgotten, mixed up, or
simply beyond the comprehension of ancient man. The stories changed over
time, as stories do. Different continents, and even different villages
told their own versions of the story. Eventually the vague remnants of
these stories were chipped into stone or written on scrolls but the
truth was already lost. There was nothing factual left. Only many
different legends, in many different lands, which became many different
religions.
A common thread in many "religions" is: God expects
man to be obedient and to serve him faithfully when he
returns.
ICE AGE
Will we?
=======================
END ========================
AFTERWARD
Hey, look! I'm a prophet!
HAHAHAHAHA!
*cough cough choke*
So what do I believe?
To believe, one
must have confidence in the truth, the existence, or the reliability of
something, without absolute proof that one is right in doing so.
There are a lot of different religions out there. I don't believe we
should be so quick to dismiss the ancient writings of any religious text
as simple-minded nonsense. Maybe the stories came from somewhere.
Perhaps they are based on common realities.
I do find it difficult to believe that any race, culture, or religious
sect has a monopoly on who or what God is... or that their doctrine is
favored over any other. Judaism, Christianity, and Islam all believe in
the SAME God -the God of Abraham. Within those 3 religions alone are
dozens and dozens of sects, each claiming their sect to be the exclusive
rightful heirs to God's kingdom. They can't all be right, so they're
probably all wrong.
And I don't believe any God would want us fighting over it. All life on
earth is precious. Jesus taught us that, as did Mohammed and Moses, but
no one seems to have paid much attention to that part.
People worship in the manner they are comfortable with, but in the
absence of fact, people put too much faith in their personal belief.
They need to remember that no religion is absolute, therefore, neither
is any belief.
All religions, past and present, are based on the conceptions,
interpretations and translations of ancient and/or modern men. All the
details change over time. They say their prophets were inspired by the
divine spirit... but if so, why are there so many different stories?
Shouldn't the message be identical whether it comes from Allah or God?
...or from Vishnu, for that matter?
Some people conclude that this means religion is false -that there is no
God- but I don't think it means that. All religions could still be right
in their generalities... some ancient and obscure truths... but because
of the scope of religious differences, all of them MUST be wrong about
the specifics.
I am not saying all religion is wrong. There is nothing wrong with
believing in and worshipping your God, but organized religion itself is
God's own worst enemy. No one on Earth really knows what the hell is
going on.
I want to KNOW God exists. I want the REAL story. I don't want to have
to take anyone's word for it. I don't give a crap about what some
moneymaking evangelist spews to keep the money rolling in so he doesn't
have to get a real job.
So all we can do is try to sort out the information as best we can from
all sources, and not take it too seriously ...or for others of us, just
ignore it all entirely.
I don't believe religion started in every isolated corner of the world
just to explain the unexplainable. I believe its possible some common
beginning inspired it everywhere. Many of the Bible and Torah's stories
were themselves originally told in Sumer -the earth's first known
civilization -stories like the great flood and stories of the Nephilim.
And these were
probably already ancient stories by then too.
Monotheism isn't really a belief in just one god. It was just a
re-naming of polytheism. We just started calling those old gods
and demi-gods angels and demons instead, and then focused all
praise on their leader. Christianity was no different than having
everyone convert to Zeus worship.
This story was not meant to be taken seriously. I realize it would be
considered blasphemy in any religion. If it has offended anyone, I
apologize. I only hoped to get people to expand their preconceptions and
have an open mind when it comes to the next person's reality, whether it
is Religious, Atheist, or Agnostic.
Someday we may all know the truth. My only worry is that when that day
comes, because of our many preconceptions, none of us will recognize it.
