With the Recession, how can I rationalize/afford to buy art?

This is not an easy question to answer. Where economics are concerned, the government is suggesting that we not be miserly. Where the spirit is concerned, there is nothing that enriches the mind more that art. And, art is deemed to be the soul of your home. Michael is now offering "Recession Art" for those in need.

Should I try to collect fine "Art" as a hedge against the Recession and only collect those Artist's approved by critics?

Collect what speaks to you and have those things about you. Take joy in finding your own Artist not who or what some else tells you. Art, like wine, is not so much dependent on price, but on your own palate and the needs of your home.
