The AFX G-Plus Chassis (1976)

The G-Plus Chassis was the another major step up in chassis design to be produced by Aurora. It's inline motor which was integrated into the chassis produced more power than the pancake type motors before it, yet the magnetic attraction force to the track was just as great. Another significant improvement was the first appearance of true independent front end. Each front tire could now spin at a different rate through sharp turns causing less friction. It also featured a lower profile which allowed the production of more realistic looking Indy / F-1 type cars.
