Tomy, AFX Turbo

       The Tomy Turbo chassis is a very simple "Can" motor chassis with a rear traction magnet mounted in front of the rear axle. Sort of an improved TycoPro. The chassis retains the original AFX body mount clips so that older AFX bodies can be mounted to the chassis. The Turbo came out in 1986

       The AFX Turbo car features a strong single bar magnet, coil spring pickup system, and an inline cluminum can motor. The Turbo chassis retains the previous AFX/Magna-Traction/G-Plus body mount, allowing many of the older body styles to snap right onto the new frame.
