Below are pictures of some of the variations of the Tomy & Tyco GTP & F1 cars...Pointed Roll Bar F1's: The Pointed Roll-Bar Turbo Car was the Earlier Released Version. It came with the narrow magnet chassis. Tomy then went to the Square Roll-Bar which was mounted on a wide traction magnet chassis. Most of these cars came in both versions. All Yellow box Turbo imports F1's came as Pointed Roll bar, narrow magnet cars. The Silver Boxed Turbo imports F1's came as Square Roll Bar, wide traction magnet chassis. Tomy expert Jeff Vladika states he has seen 10 different Turbo F1's with the pointed Roll Bar. |

The Mercedes C-9 Circuit Board #61, is another one
to look for.The most commend version is with the Mercedes on the wind
shield, but there is also a version without "Mercedes" on
the windshield. |
