The "Reduction Program"
What are we reducing? Many RLSers who have struggled for years and lost endless nights of sleep due to RLS attacks, nickname their condition, "The beast of RLS". When they suddenly realize their odd feelings have a real name, Restless Legs Syndrome, and they hear the doctors are prescribing medications for it, they become filled with hope for a cure.
The reality is, there is no cure. The other reality is that the unruly, unmanageable, out of control "beast of RLS", is more than any single pill, doctor, or alternative measure can conquer.
The Reduction Plan is based on the premise that if we can reduce the "beast" to "bully size", he will still be ugly and beastial, but he'll become manageable and survivable.
Bully size, is achievable by addressing 6 areas which can be "reduced".
To effectively follow this program, I suggest you create a file system. You can do this in a 3-ring notebook, or in a file box with separate folders for each area or step of the program, or you can set it up with files on your computer.
IMPORTANT! This is an ongoing program. Right now, you will add everything you can find to each appropriate folder. In the years to come, as you learn more, or try new ideas, you will continue to add information and review what is in the folders.
