PART 4: RELIEF PLAN

PLAN of ATTACK    vs    RELIEF PLAN

What's the difference?

A PLAN of ATTACK involves preparations which hopefully help PREVENT an RLS attack. The plan also gives you a predetermined set of responses to help you SURVIVE, if RLS attacks while you are trying to sit on an airplane, get to sleep, sit through a movie, or survive a drive in a car.

FLASH!! A Plan of Attack can fail!

A RELIEF PLAN is used when a Plan of Attack fails. It's purpose is strictly to STOP the RLS attack. It doesn't necessarily help you finish the task at hand.

When a Plan of Attack fails, you MUST move on to a RELIEF PLAN. This means you apply Zero Tolerance, getting out of bed, or out of the situation you are in, and doing everything in your power to stop that RLS as soon as possible.

EXAMPLE of a Relief Plan:

    ***WALK!

***Get in a hot tub or bath!

    ***Use medicine

    ***Exercise, stretch, dance

***Make herbal tea and play a computer game

    ***WALK some more!

When all else fails....be creative!

    ***Walk WITH your computer!

***Dip your computer game in your tea!

OKAY! I'm just kidding. I loved these pictures and had to use them.
