UPCOMING EVENT

The Yulee Railroad Days Committee invites you to participate in an upcoming event, Yulee Railroad Days. This event is celebrated across Florida, following the route of the historic cross-state railroad. The event is named after Florida’s first great railroading pioneer, Senator David Levy Yulee.

YRRD began in the City of Archer and has rapidly expanded to historic towns in Alachua County and surrounding areas. Many towns that this railroad passed through owe their existence to it. We hope you will encourage your community to participate in YRRD as it honors the railroad and all of the people who labored to construct it. The 2008 YRRD event will take place Friday, May 30 - Saturday, June 7 -- and it has been a great success through the years.
