Dear Yulee Diddley Day Vendor/Parade Participant:

You are cordially invited to participate in this years Yulee Railroad Days festival in Archer FL on Sat, June 6, 2009. This is the 14th year Yulee Days has been celebrated in Archer. Our event celebrates Senator David Levy Yulee, the Cross Florida Railroad and all who worked so hard to construct the railroad.

The event includes reenactments, a parade and various other forms of entertainment. We will be hosting the event all day around the old depot in downtown Archer on Sat, June 6. You should plan on setting up either on the eve of June 5 or before 9am on June 6. All are invited to participate in the Yulee Diddley Day Parade. The Parade line-up is at the Recreation Field before 9am Saturday. Horses, antique cars, floats, groups, politicians, etc. are welcome; there is no charge. Please submit the attached registration form.

Entertainers, including gospel, rock, jazz, folk, country western, R & B, Hip Hop, etc, and those interested in the Archer's Idol Contest, are welcome. The stage will be open all day for performances. The Archer's Idol Contest seeks contestants. Please complete the attached form.

There is no event or exhibit fee in order to participate. Instead we will go around and collect any donations you wish to contribute to the Archer Historical Society on Sat, June 6. Due to the area of the locations that we hold our event we will be unable to provide water, electricity or security.

In order to maintain the quality of our event we ask that vendors bring hand-made or home-made goods. In order to keep our event unique and different we ask that our vendors please refrain from bringing manufactured items to sell at our event.
