Questions Most Frequently Asked by Parents
- Where are the classes held?
GYMSTERS is a mobile program that comes right to your school. Classes are on site at your child's school;
a special area is provided for GYMSTERS in the school building.
- What is the age range for children participating in GYMSTERS?
Children as young as eighteen (18) months thru kindergarten participate in GYMSTERS. Also children six through twelve can
participate in the GYMSTERS elementary program.
- What times and days do the children have classes?
The times and days are prearranged with the Director, Owner, or Principal for each school site.
Look at the registration forms to determine the day and time for your child's site.
- How do I sign up?
Each school is different. Please ask the office for GYMSTERS registration forms. The registration forms provide
details on the day, time, cost, and number of classes pre session at that site.
- How many classes are there in each session?
Each school has its own session duration. Some schools run monthly sessions (3, 4, or 5 classes--depending on
holidays); others have 6-10 classes per session.
- Do I pay for holidays?
Each GYMSTERS teacher coordinates with the school office to determine the schedule for a session. Holidays and/or
teacher vacation days are not counted when determining the number of classes in a session.
- How do I pay?
Each school keeps a GYMSTERS envelope or some other type of container in which to place your
registration form and payment.
- How does the GYMSTERS teacher leave a message for me?
When a new session is approaching, the GYMSTERS teacher will contact you by placing information in
your child's cubby or by using the sign-in/sign-out book.
- Do I need to re-enroll for each session?
GYMSTERS is an ongoing year-around program. Your child is automatically re-enrolled for successive sessions unless
you provide intent to cancel notification.
- How do I cancel?
After attending at least one (1) enrolled (paid for) class, notification of intent to cancel is required
two (2) weeks prior to the first class of an upcoming session. This protects your child.
The children are in the routine of going to GYMSTERS classes and need to hear from the parent why they are
no longer in the GYMSTERS program. Place a written notification of intent to cancel in the GYMSTERS envelope at the
school.
- Are videos and/or photos taken in class?
When you sign up for GYMSTERS, you automatically agree that videos and/or photos can be used by GYMSTERS
for public relations and/or advertising purposes. If you choose not to allow this, submit a written request, then
videos/photos involving your child will not be used.
