Watching a Class

Parents are welcome to watch the class any time, but here are some considerations:
  1. Waiting until after the first class for you child is usually a good idea, so that he/she experiences a feeling of independence.
  2. On occassion a child will want to bond with the parent. Because this can cause classroom confusion for the other children, you might be asked to watch from an adjoining view, where the GYMSTERS kids cannot see you.

Other Opportunities to Observe GYMSTERS

It is best to observe your child in the normal GYMSTERS setting during regular class time. For special performances, stages and designated spaces are often much smaller than the regular GYMSTERS room, and additionally time is often limited.

Nevertheless, there are often other opportunities to watch a GYMSTERS class:

  1. Holiday Celebrations
  2. Open Houses
These are small shows that attempt to convey what GYMSTERS is all about. However, the children are usually performing in unfamiliar surroundings where they frequently do not react as they would in a familiar setting. Better to watch your child perform in a regular GYMSTERS class if you have the opportunity.
