A basic cell design can be found below which employs an acrylic shell and polypropylene tube to hold the water and stainless steel plates. This cell can be run in parallel or series as to adjust total plate area. To increase gas production rates in this system the cell can be run in series configuration and as many plates as needed can be installed into the tube. Voltage across the cell is divided so if higher voltages are needed then a high voltage secondary can be used to increase voltage across the cell thereby also increasing gas production rates.
