In this section I will try to keep up on the changes I make to my 89 YJ.

After all these years running a carbureted 4.2 and stalling out all the time I decided to install a new 4.0. At a local Jeep Junk Yard AMC Salvage I found a 98 ZJ 4.0 and with the help of my friends and Dave at AMC Salvage I got it installed in my YJ. The swap was much easier that I had expected. I would highly recommend it if you want fuel injection. It made a huge difference in how the YJ works on the trial. 

I also had a new front bumper built by Hunter Offroad John does great work. It is a stubby bumper with a stinger and he also made the front spring hangers part of the bumper for the  shackle reversal.
