Concluding the eighth grade at Rachel Carson Middle School, Rosie participated in the big spring concert.
The concert was divided into two parts. The first part was a formal concert. Here is Rosie singing in the Advanced Mixed Chorus. Rosie is in the back row, on the far right. Her music teacher, Mrs. Alexander, a big inspiration and source of nurturing to Rosie, leads the chorus.
The second part of the concert emphasized choreography, so everyone changed during the intermission. Rosie got one brief solo.
Near the end all three choruses joined together and participated in a medley of songs from the musical "Newsies". Here she is in "Seize the Day".
