- The new 2008-09 PTA Handbook is posted. It contains all the information you need!
- Schools should be putting together their Reflections program over the summer so that information goes home with kids right when school starts. You can check out our Reflections page or the Reflections library on the VA PTA web-site or contact Reflections chair Laura Thompson, 851-0992, if you have any questions.
- October 2nd, 6-9 pm: "Internet Safety 101: Empowering Parents" presentation at VA PTA Town Hall meeting at Norview High School in Norfolk, VA. This is a very good presentation from experts with key information for parents to make sure "No Child Left Unprotected"! With our children on the internet it is important that we know how to protect them. Please advertise this to all your parents. 6-7 pm is registration with refreshments followed by the presentation at 7 pm. Click here for Flyer with more information.
- Officer listing form is due to city PTA by June 6. Officer listing & bulletin form for state PTA is due June 15. The following schools still need to get their forms in ASAP: Armstrong, Cary, Davis, Lee, Lindsay, Merrimack, Spratley, Syms & Wythe.
