- Superintendent survey now closed. A summary (PPT) and details (Excel) of the survey results are now available and have been shared with the School Board.
- Register for VA PTA Leadership Training Conference which is July 17-18 in Richmond. Deadline for advance registration is June 20th. It's only $35 for all workshops including a couple meals! This is great training and information, so we encourage all PTA board members to attend. Click here for more details and registration form.
- Special PTA Budget meeting was held Thursday, March 19, 7:30 pm at Armstrong Elementary. Minutes are posted. A summary was presented to School Board on March 25th. See HCS web-site for latest budget proposals. (Under Events & News in center of page.)
- After your election, remember to submit your new officer names to the city by June 5th and to the state by June 15.
- New! The VA PTA is looking for a chairperson for their Secondary PTA/PTSA committee. See information and application form.
- The new 2008-09 PTA Handbook is posted. It contains all the information you need!
- Reflections information/handbook for 2009-2010 can be downloaded here.
- If you want to conduct any PTA business by email, an amendment to your bylaws is required. See details in the document library.
