Hampton City PTA Council: Cell Phone Resolution and Petition

At the January 10, 2008, PTA meeting, the PTA debated and voted on recommendations for changes to the cell phone policy in the Student Rights & Responsibilities Handbook for the next school year. The resolution that resulted from that discussion is posted below.
Proposed new Right: Cell phone resolution
Proposed new Responsibility: PTA's proposed contract for middle school parents/students to sign if they want to carry a cell phone to school. Presented to HCS February 18, 2008 as a possible solution.
