Main Operating Position of K4QZO

| This is my old WWII radio I bought at Ft Walton fest about 8 yrs ago. It is very close to the HQ 120x. But not really. The cap bank is not in the 120X. The
meter is different, and the tubes are different. The face looks the same.
It was made for the Department of Navy - Bureau of Ships. June 14, 1941 contract date. General Electric Contractor. Hammarlund was the
sub contractor. It does have a xtal filter. Upper left knob. Model# CHC 46140 S/N 634
Don't know if it rare or not. If not rare, I am going in to it and make it work. Advice appreciated on this. |
