Are you having problems finding paint that matches original color of that old boatanchor? Would you like to just find a spray can of the matching paint and not deal with the air compressor, paint sprayer and lots of clean up?

Harold, W4PQW, has a better way!

Go to the local PPG auto paint store. They will match and mix anything you need,. The minimum amount is a pint.

Purchase the Preval sprayer system. The paint gun runs about $4to 5...spray tank is renewable and they sell the air for about $1.50. (Preval is available at some Home Depot stores.)

Use the Delstar reducer to thin the paint so that it sprays evenly across the metal cabinet.

If you have difficulty finding Preval paint gun system, it can be ordered on line  at http://prevalspraygun.com   The cost is $19.95 shipped

Which is the original?

ANSWER: The DX60 is original paint and HR 10 is new paint. After the HR10 ages, it should be close to same shade
